# Personal Henry

> An assistant that is just yours. Text Henry like a person and it remembers, reminds, and gets things done.

Personal Henry is a workspace for one person. No team, no Slack, no invites. You text it, and it keeps track of your life: the people, the dates, the documents, the promises.

## Set it up

    Go to [app.usehenry.ai/personal/start](https://app.usehenry.ai/personal/start) and sign up. Use an email you will keep if you change jobs.

    Click **Start your personal Henry**. Your workspace is private to you.

    Henry walks you through linking your number so you can text it. See [Texting](/user-guide/channels/texting). Until your number is verified, Henry reaches you by email.

    Henry asks a few questions to get started. Answer in your own words: who is in your family, what you drive, what you rent or own, what you tend to forget.

## What personal Henry does

* **Remembers.** People, preferences, and every date you mention.
* **Reminds you before it slips.** Birthdays a week ahead. Registrations, insurance, and renewals a month ahead. See [Reminders and profiles](/user-guide/personal/reminders-and-profiles).
* **Files your documents.** Text a photo of a registration, insurance card, lease, or ID. Henry reads it, saves the facts and dates, and keeps the original in your private document wallet.
* **Keeps its promises.** "Remind me tonight" and "I'll deal with that next month" go on Henry's list, and it follows up.
* **Respects quiet hours.** No reminders between 9 PM and 8 AM unless you asked for that time. Change the window by telling Henry.

## Personal and work Henry together

You can have a personal Henry and a work Henry with the same phone number. Each texts you from its own number, so they are separate threads in Messages, and nothing crosses between them. Save them as two contacts: "Henry" and "Henry (Work)".

## What is different from a team workspace

* One person only. There are no invites. To work with a team, create a business workspace from the workspace switcher.
* No Slack or Microsoft Teams. Your channels are texting, the web app, and the apps.
* Integrations, tasks, projects, and the Agent Browser all work the same way.
